Shaxpir Has Been Shut Down

As of 11:59pm Pacific Time on May 5, 2026, Shaxpir is officially closed. The login servers have been turned off, and the application is no longer available. Thank you to everyone who wrote with me here over the last eleven years.

A Few More Days...

I've been working through my support inbox, resetting passwords for returning users and helping people export their content. There are still a few stragglers, so I'm pushing the shutdown date back to May 5, 2026. The doors will stay open for everyone until then.

Shaxpir is Shutting Down

I have some hard news to share today: after eleven years, Shaxpir will be shutting down. The service will remain fully operational through April 30, 2026, giving everyone time to export their work. After that date, you will no longer be able to log in to your account. I know this affects real people doing real creative work, and I want to be honest with you about what's happening and why.
