We define “vivid words” as those that evoke a specific sensory experience.

Words like “red” or “sweet” or “explosive” are considered vivid because they directly engage your physical senses! And some words are more vivid that others… The word “red” is vivid, but the word “crimson” is even even more vivid…

This highlighter scores each of your vocabulary words on a scale of 1 to 10 according to their sensory intensity, so that you can see which of your scenes have the most raw and visceral descriptions.
