I’m pleased to announce the release of Shaxpir 2.2.1 today, which provides a handful of convenient little bug-fixes. There are no new features in today’s release, but we’ve improved the quality and reliability of the core product, continuing to work toward our goal of making Shaxpir the world’s finest writing instrument.

For the nitty-gritty technical details, read on:
First of all, this release fixes a bug preventing scrollbars from appearing in the STORY panel, on certain versions of Windows, when the list of chapters and notes exhausts the available vertical space in the main menu.
This release also fixes a rare issue causing login errors for some users with mixed-case email addresses.
We’ve corrected an error preventing cloud synchronization of image files over SSL encrypted connections, and fixed a bug in the synchronization protocol when a user resumes writing after a long period of inactivity.
And last but not least, we’re releasing an experimental 32-bit version of Shaxpir for Windows users with old hardware, or stuck on Windows XP. If you have an old netbook and you’d like to test Shaxpir on it, get in touch with us at support@shaxpir.com.
