Yesterday was a busy day!

After launching Shaxpir 2.0.0 early Sunday morning, some of our finest beta testers found a bug with clound-sync that caused the app to crash immediately after upgrading. We released version 2.0.1 in the early afternoon to fix those bugs.

Then, in the afternoon, a different group of testers found a completely different bug with content migration, which caused the app to freeze during the process of upgrading their content from the 1.0 data format to the new and improved 2.0 format. We released version 2.0.2 late Sunday night to fix those issues.

If you experienced either of these problems, head over to the download page and grab version 2.0.2 now. There’s no need to uninstall previous versions of the software first. But you should clear your local data cache first, if you’ve already experienced a crash.

To clear your local data cache on Windows, open your file browser to the folder C:\Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local and delete the Shaxpir folder.

To clear your local data cache on Macintosh, open a Finder window to the folder /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Library/Application Support and delete the Shaxpir folder.

If you still experience any problems after going through these steps, contact us at support@shaxpir.com and we’ll help you out personally.

Many thanks to our enthusiastic beta testers who, once again, helped us find and fix these bugs!
